A receipt (50 x 39 cm.) for 50 francs paid to the state under the terms of the forced loan. For reimbursement, the document has ten coupons for 5 francs each. They were accepted by the tax authorities in part-payment of tax due in the following 10 years. Received by Bernard Römer. Signed "quatorze pluviôse an 5" (i.e., 2 Feb. 1797) by Louis Streicher, percepteur de la Commune de Molsheim. Two coupons have been removed.
